According to reports, former actress Maia Campbell was among the 44 arrested in an illegal street racing bust in Atlanta. Campbell, 43, is known for starring alongside LL Cool J in the 90s sitcom In The House but has faced legal and substance abuse troubles since then. It isn't immediately clear what Campbell's role was in the street race operation, her mugshot became the topic of social media conversations.

Atlanta police issued 114 citations, impounded 29 vehicles, and recovered four firearms. Atlanta Police Department Chief Erika Shields said in a statement: "We pledged to deal with these speeders and reckless drivers who have shown a complete disregard for the safety of others with these dangerous antics, [...] This weekend, with the help of our law enforcement partners, we made inroads. We will continue to impound, arrest, and seek costly fines for those individuals who choose Atlanta for this senseless behavior.”
